You may have seen a lot of TikToks or YouTube videos of step-by-step skincare with different vitamins and minerals-based products. You must have surely invested too in those products. So let us take you in on a secret. There are a lot more elements that play role in your skin health than just drops of serums and tablets.
While someone with acne or other skin conditions has prescribed remedies there are some basic lifestyle habits and hygiene habits that can help you elevate your game. We love vegan friendly, we love organic. And so we bring to you some homemade care ideas.

Before we get into that, let’s look at some of our habits. Makeup is a daily must-do for a large group of people. So do you clean up before? Do you put skincare and skin-friendly base? Does your make-up contain any harsh ingredients? Do you clean or sleep with your make-up on? Makeup can only hide the damage and sometimes cause further skin degeneration. Do you regularly change sheets and pillowcases? Use soft fabric for your face? Are these good hints of lifestyle habits that play a role in keeping your skin germ free?

Moving forward, the most important aspect. Food and water. We are all for doughnuts, ice cream, fries, salads, and meats. Eat what your body wants but eat clean! Because this affects your organs, your hormones and skin are organs after all. Drink clean water, even put some cucumber slices or watermelon slices in it. Wash your vegetables, and meats before cooking, drink filtered water, use healthy oil options, and consume fruits! All your required range of vitamins and minerals enter through what you choose to eat. Body absorption of those vitamins and minerals differs from person to person, a simple checkup can help you reconvene use deficiencies and be directed towards taking supplements.

Finally, here are some easy pocket-friendly, skin-friendly things you could do:

Homemade Face and Body Mask :

I. Hydrating Mask –

Remove aloe gel substance from aloe Vera leaves, mix it with coconut powder or simply blend it in your blender. Put it on your face and body and rinse it in 10-15 minutes.

II. De-tanning Mask –

Tomatoes. Cut them in halves or make tomato paste. If you’ve made halves, simply hold them as you hold a bar of soap and rub it in. If you’ve made a paste, apply it to your tan. Rinse it in 5-10 minutes.

III. Moisturising and Glow Mask –

One of the best Indian ingredients is Haldi (Turmeric). They put it in their food for healthy inside, apply it over open wounds because of its anti-septic values, and also apply it on the skin for cleansing. You may have seen something called “Haldi” in Bridgerton recently!

You can easily do it with just three things – Turmeric, Milk or Yogurt, and Gram Flour (Besan- available in south Asian general stores). It should be 1 teaspoon Turmeric (Haldi) to 2 tablespoons of Gram Flour (Besan) and milk or yogurt in proportion to make a thick consistency. Apply it, let it dry for 10-15 minutes, and rinse to see your skin glowing. If you have a gram flour allergy, simply mix Turmeric and Yogurt!

This brings us to remember: eat clean, stay hydrated, use products suitable for your skin type and eat supplements as per your need, put on sunscreen, change our towels and sheets regularly, read other articles from our blog to know more about food groups, our products and remember to love your skin.

Wish you a healthy body, mind, and soul.
